Fat Hippo Sausage Rolls
Ingredients
4 sheets ready rolled puff pastry
8 sausages (plain, vegetarian, chicken etc!)
1 egg, lightly whisked
Fat Hippo Chutney
- Pre-heat oven to 200oC. Line baking trays with paper.
- Spread Fat Hippo Chutney over pastry sheet, leaving a 3cm border around edges. Cut each pastry sheet in half.
- Place 1 sausage along 1 long end of pastry piece. Brush edges with egg. Roll up pastry to enclose sausage, tucking ends under. Place on prepared trays. Brush tops with egg. Cut 3 slits into each top. Bake for 30 minutes or until golden.
